The Leadership Team

Role: Director Credentials: Diploma in Disability Support | MAYBO Certified

John Talbot

With over 15 years of experience in the disability sector, John is the driving force behind the culture of care at Waves. He holds a Diploma in Disability Support and is certified in MAYBO (conflict management and physical intervention), ensuring that safety and respect are at the core of our services.

John’s extensive background means he isn't just an administrator; he understands the complexities of complex care and SIL environments. He is passionate about creating homes where participants feel safe, heard, and truly independent.

Role: Business Manager Credentials: Diploma in Disability Support | Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Isaac Talbot

Isaac brings a powerful combination of business acumen and frontline empathy to Waves. With an MBA and over 10 years of experience working with NDIS providers on systems and training, he ensures that the 'business' side of your support is seamless, transparent, and compliant.

Uniquely for a Business Manager, Isaac also has over 5 years of hands-on support work experience. He understands the day-to-day reality of support work, which allows him to build systems that actually work for our participants and staff, rather than just looking good on paper.

Role: HR & Compliance Manager Credentials: Diploma in Disability Support | Former Educator & Department Lead

Kaleb Talbot

Kaleb is responsible for ensuring that the Waves team is the best in the business. He brings a unique background in education, having worked as a Teacher, Secondary Sport Coordinator, and Head of Year.

Kaleb translates his educational leadership skills into staff mentorship, training, and rigorous compliance. With over 5 years of his own hands-on support experience, he knows exactly what qualities make a great support worker. He ensures that every staff member we hire is not only qualified but also compatible with the Waves culture.

Role: Community Inclusion & Support Worker Credentials: Diploma in Disability Support | MAYBO Certified

Noah Talbot

Noah is the heartbeat of our community programs, combining professional expertise with a genuine passion for social connection. Holding a Diploma in Disability Support and MAYBO certification, he is trained to provide safe, high-quality support that prioritizes the wellbeing and dignity of every participant.

As a Community Inclusion specialist, Noah focuses on bridging the gap between 'care' and 'living.' He doesn’t just support participants; he actively engages with them to find their passions and build their skills. Whether it’s hitting the gym, finding a local club, or navigating public transport, Noah brings energy, safety awareness, and a 'can-do' attitude to every shift.

The Waves Support Crew

Our leadership team sets the standard, but our support workers deliver it every day. Because our HR Manager has a background in education and hands-on support, we recruit differently.

We don't just hire for qualifications; we hire for personality and capacity. We look for mentors, active listeners, and people who bring energy to your day, whether that’s in a SIL home or out in the community.
